DOMAINE DU MAZEL
On a 22-hectare estate, Gérald and Jocelyne Oustric, brother and sister, work the vineyard they inherited from their father in 1983. It combines a number of grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Portan, Cabernet, Carignan and Merlot for the reds, Viognier, Chardonnay and Grenache Blanc for the whites. Le Mazel wines are natural, with no filtration, flash pasteurization or inputs other than SO2, and come in both affordable bottles and more prestigious cuvées. Jocelyne and Gérald are well known for helping young winegrowers set up in business.
