SOYONS CAVE

The site offers three attractions: two caves (Grotte de Néron and Trou du Renard), an archaeological museum and introductory archaeological dig workshops! Access to the prehistoric caves is via a footpath, a 15-minute walk for a 1-hour visit, so don't forget to wear good shoes. The interior reveals splendid concretions and the history of the Paleolithic man who lived there. The museum's four permanent exhibition rooms present a selection of objects from the caves.
