Visit Satilieu's old quarters to discover remarkable features: towers, fountains, remnants of ramparts.
Walking through the centre of the village, one discovers remarkable elements of the built heritage: remains of ramparts, tower, granite plague cross, fountains. The Triade association is conducting research on this built heritage and the history of the canton. Thus we learn that the town hall is installed in a former castle of the eighteenth century. It houses the Don Quixote room where you can admire beautiful tapestries classified whose origin keeps its mysteries. As for the church, it is built on a promontory that housed an ancient Roman fort.
