The Marzal cave, in Saint-Remèze, has a site with a museum of speleology with free access and a zoo of dinos.
The site offers several attractions. First of all, a cave: the Marzal cave, explored in 1892 by E.-A. Martel, the first French speleologist of worldwide reputation. This cave is made up of "Roman" and "diamond" columns in sparkling colours. Second site: the Museum of Speleology (free access), built with donations from the most prestigious speleologists since 1892. Finally, the Dinos zoo presents life-size reconstructions of prehistoric animals that once inhabited the region on a 2 hectare long natural and shaded path of 800 metres.
