Biscuits

A native of the region, Simon Rouchier is now a farmer-confectioner. A former chocolatier who wanted to move into arboriculture, he decided to combine his two passions: confectionery and agriculture. On 2 hectares, he grows organic apricots, apples, plums, blackcurrants, strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants and blackberries. In his artisanal workshop, he transforms them into sweet delights: candied fruits coated in chocolate, fruit jellies, but also nectars, syrups, jams and even nougat, hence the name of his small business: Au nougat ardéchois. Gourmets melt!

L'ABEILLE ET LA BLETTE

Fruit and vegetable producers

Marine Mazel and François Chauvin did a lot of traveling before putting down roots in the Ardèche. In 2018, they embarked on organic vegetable and fruit production. In greenhouses and in open fields, L'Abeille et la Blette (who's the bee, who's the chard?) grow tomatoes and lettuces, asparagus and herbs, strawberries and flowers, all of which can be found, for example, in the fabulous sandwiches at Bottega Itineris, in Annonay. We follow the adventures of the crops day by day on Facebook. A great atmosphere around this friendly couple.
