A very picturesque road, carved out of the rock in the century, it offers a fine view of the Ruoms gorge.

This beautiful road, which runs alongside the River Ardèche for much of its length, links Ruoms to the départementale 104, which leads to Aubenas or Largentière on the right, and to Joyeuse and Alès on the left. Carved into the rock in the 19th century, it offers spectacular views of the limestone cliffs. Through a succession of tunnels and arches, you thread your way through a deep gorge overlooking the Ardèche and Ligne rivers. Beautiful views of the gorge from the road.

A la sortie de Ruoms, après avoir traversé le pont de la Bigournette, il suffit de tourner à droite pour se retrouver sur la route des défilés qui longe la rivière. Un cadre magnifique, avec une petite partie tunnel creusée directement dans le calcaire : sensations garanties !
