Wine and alcohol cooperative
Read moreJust a stone's throw from the tourist office, the Rosières winery groups together 150 winegrowers, i.e. 700 hectares of vines, spread over 13 communes. The variety of soils and exposures are an asset that the cellar makes the most of. It produces local wines made from Gamay and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds and rosés, and from Sauvignon Blanc for the whites. Two exceptions: Viognier on sandstone soils which gives a rare and magnificent wine and Chatus, a grape variety which survived the phylloxera epidemic and whose most beautiful plants are found in the commune of Vernon.
