There are more vines than inhabitants in this village of Châteaubourg! Here, the Courbis brothers, Laurent and Dominique, produce wines that are a joy to taste and discover. Their annual production of 160,000 bottles is divided between St-Joseph, Cornas, Crozes-Hermitage, St-Péray and IGP syrah. Ageing in oak barrels gives the juices a distinctive personality. The wines are excellent and the prices high, but... justified. Courbis-branded bottles can be found in many of the region's restaurants.
