Situated at the foot of the Château des Ducs de Bourbon, you'll be welcomed into a medieval, listed setting, to enjoy traditional cuisine made with market produce. Copious mixed salads, duck breast, Auvergne burger and home fries. Gourmet coffee, tiramisu, ice cream sundaes. At weekends, chef's menu and suggestions, fish, butcher's cuts. Large charcuterie boards for 2 to 10 people, ideal for aperitifs with friends. Large shaded terrace on the pedestrian square. Excellent value for money. Smiling, efficient service.

Excellente adresse en centre ville avec vue sur le château. Repas copieux et de qualité. Frites maison, steak du boucher... un vrai délice. Service impeccable et serveuse agréable. Je recommande vivement.

Si vous passez par Montluçon, sur la route des vacances, pour un week-end, passez y une nuit pour visiter cette très belle ville chargée d'histoire et allez dîner à la nouvelle auberge, vous ne serez pas déçus. Accueil chaleureux, cuisine impeccable, cadre fabuleux au pied du château. Vous ne le regretterez pas.

Bel emplacement au pied du château. Cependant, au delà d’une cuisine simple, les produits ne sont pas de qualité. Le personnel n’est pas très aimable. Je ne recommande pas.
