The Railway Museum is a real paradise for train lovers.
Ambérieu, where, until the middle of the 19th century, many inhabitants contributed to the building of the railway lines for the P.L.M. (Paris Lyon Méditerranée) company, has a special relationship with the railways. As such, the city had to dedicate a museum to it. A real paradise for train lovers where exhibitions of equipment alternate with more technical rooms or reconstructions of scenes from the ordinary life of an engine driver (dormitory, refectory or ticket office). Temporary exhibitions are regularly presented.

Petit musée, mais que de trésors !
Nous avons visité ce musée du cheminot crée par des amoureux du chemin de fer et qui retrace l'histoire de la SNCF de 1950 à nos jours
