The Château d'Hugues belonged to the Pradier family from 1869 to 1988. Since 2017, it has been under the control of Grégory Payan, who had been the estate's vineyard manager for ten years. Today, the production is in the image of the estate: small quantity but high quality. Difficult then to choose, even if the palate still claims this "Orée des Collines"; power, balance, structure and length for this very pleasant wine - the cuvée has passed through the Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages Massif d'Uchaux). The Grande Réserve Côtes-du-Rhône rouge also deserves a big detour.

Owned by the Monier de Saint-Estève family since 1809, the estate is built around a fine 19th-century architectural ensemble. Since 1961, the date of the1st vintage, a string of awards has honored the expertise of a solid team led today by Marc Français. Their combined talents are applied to a 50-hectare vineyard (organic since 2009) classified as AOC Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages Massif d'Uchaux in red and Côtes-du-Rhône in all 3 colors.
