A remarkable church with a high, tiled pyramidal bell tower in the heart of the village of Savoillan, well worth a visit.

With its high, tiled pyramidal bell tower, Saint-Agricol church sits at the heart of the village on a north-west/south-east axis. Completed in 1862 on the site of an earlier, dilapidated edifice, the building comprises a single nave with three bays marked by bright-blue painted pilasters. Four round-arched windows let in light. A stone rose window tops the entrance door. To reach the bell tower, a staircase was built outside the church. In Savoillans, the church, town hall and school are all on the same square.
