A Roman theater steeped in history, converted into housing for refugees from the Wars of Religion in the century.
This Roman theater is the best preserved in the world because it has kept its stage wall with the original elevation (103 m wide by 37 m high and 1.80 m thick). Built during the reign of Augustus in the first century, it was immediately a very popular place. When the Empire declined, the Theater followed suit. It was closed in 391, because Christianity forbade any representation of plays without a religious character. In the 16th century, it was transformed into houses for refugees from the wars of religion.

Le comédien incarnant ce chevalier nous a véritablement charmés par sa gentillesse, ainsi que par sa manière bienveillante et pédagogique d’expliquer aux enfants les rudiments du maniement de l’épée.
Un grand merci à lui, ainsi qu’à la Ville d’Orange, pour ce moment à la fois ludique, enrichissant et inoubliable
Pensez à venir avec un coussin confortable, sinon la pierre fera son effet...

La scénographie est bien (vous pouvez vous déplacer durant celle-ci) mais sans plus et l'histoire n'est pas du tout intéressante même si l'on comprend bien le bien-fondé sous-entendu.
Nous aimons la mythologie grecque et romaine, ainsi que la protection de la nature, mais là nous avons été fortement déçus de ce qui nous a été présenté.
De plus, même si vous avez des billets électroniques il faut patienter pour obtenir une contremarque afin que vous soyez comptabilisé.
