Chapel located in the middle of the cedars on the Defens de Monieux, built in 1632
Situated in the middle of the cedars on the Defense of Monieux, this chapel takes its name from the saint who was prayed to during the dark hours of the city. In fact, it was built in 1632, following the first great black plague epidemic of 1629, and was later enlarged and restored in 1720, during the second plague epidemic. The Revolution then wreaked some havoc there, and it was rebuilt in 1852. It is quite original, built in the middle of the cedars according to a circular plan with a conical roof made of round tiles.
