CHÂTEAU FONTVERT
For more than three centuries, the estate was shaped and run by a single Huguenote family. Then, thanks to Olivier Monod and his descendants - Jérôme Monod and his sons, helped by Yoann Malandain, the steward (a fan of biodynamics - he managed to preserve his founding family's requirements and taste for careful work. Made up of twenty hectares, vinified with care and patience, syrah, grenache, mourvèdre, vermentino, white grenache are fully expressed, to give rise to exceptional wines. Let's mention for pleasure Château Fontvert, a rosé organic wine from a black grenache blend (85%), mourvèdre (10%) and syrah (5%), where are mingling powerful aromas of red fruits, white peach and citrus fruits (wine from grapes in conversion to organic farming) and the pink Mourre, a biological wine from a selection of the best juice from direct pressing of grenache.
