In the center of the village of Le Thor stands Notre-Dame-du-Lac, an authentic Romanesque church with a Gothic vault.

In the centre of the old town, stands Notre-Dame-du-Lac (listed as a Historic Monument since 1840), a 12th century Romanesque church. It has kept its original character. The single nave is 35 m long under the Gothic vault - one of the oldest in Provence - arching to a height of 16 m in an admirable apparatus. Outside, one can contemplate the west and south portals. The rich decoration of the latter, imitated from ancient art, is splendid.
