Restaurant offering refined and creative cuisine at very reasonable prices in Goult.

Push open the door of this Carillon, one of Goult's fine restaurants, run by a charming couple, Lætitia and Bruce. The setting is elegant, the atmosphere cosy, the cuisine refined and creative, and the prices really reasonable, especially the lunchtime special. Bruce Rousselet works with the finest local produce: Mediterranean sea bass fillet, poichichade, chickpea fricassee, grilled sucrine and orange vinaigrette, or veal onglet, acidulated oven-roasted eggplant, eggplant caviar, jus court, gressin with Provence herbs.

Closed from December 20 to March 10. Closed during the fête votive. Open Thursday to Monday from 12:15 to 13:30 and from 19:15 to 20:30. Lunch menu until 1:45pm. Reservations recommended. Menus from €30 to €56. A la carte menu: approx. €25. Lunch formula: €30. Wine by the glass. Menus €44 and €56. Terrace.

We showed up at 7:15 on a March evening with no reservation. I don't think this would work well in busier times, but we were very warmly welcomed. The service was truly excellent -- friendly, helpful, attentive. The food was very good and the atmosphere lovely. Highly recommend Le Carillon!

We had a wonderful experience at Le Carillon. We were welcomed with our 2 children (ages 7 and 4) on a late reservation despite being nervous to take them in such a refined restaurant. The service, food and wine was excellent and they even went out of their way to make sure that the kids were taken care of. An all around wonderful experience with great hospitality.
