The visit is to be done! Enter the Jewish door and raise your eyes towards a small Italian organ. Its ornate Baroque decor was classified by Historical Monuments in 1849. The nave, with its late Romanesque vaults, houses statues before each pillar. The golden altarpiece has a central panel dating back to 1480, dedicated to Saint Georges. Side panels (1532) present Saint Maurice, patron of the city. The tomb of white marble (1501) is that of a vice-king of Naples: Estienne de Vesc. A persistent legend says that under the current church, an underground church is buried as high as the visible church.
