Luxurious hotel offering refined rooms and suites

This beautiful building was in 1580 the residence of the Marquis of Graveson before becoming a luxurious hotel, the Hotel d'Europe is a privileged holiday resort. In other times, illustrious guests have stayed here, Bonaparte, Chateaubriand, Victor Hugo, Tennessee Williams, Jacky Kennedy. You will be charmed as soon as you enter through the imposing porch which opens onto a flowery patio garden. un samedi midi
Déjeuner un samedi après avoir flâné en ville. Le cadre est particulièrement agréable. Nous avons déjeuné à l'intérieur, mais certains clients étaient déjà en terrasse ! Notre table est large et jolie mise en place. Elle est suffisamment espacée des tables voisines. Entré / Plat / dessert du jour à 38 €. Personnel très agréable, notamment notre serveuse, plat de grande qualité, joliment présenté, préparé avec des produits de saisons. vraiment une très belle adresse d'Avignon que je recommande chaleureusement. Bon conseil en ce qui concerne les vins, eau minérale à 7,90 ... un peu excessif !

Attente interminable entre chaque plat, personnel mutique et désorganisé. Quelques plats du menu "inattendu" sont excellents d'autre n'ont aucun intérêt, dommage!!!! Le cadre est très beau.

It is a beautiful place. You can come here just to take tea (delicious) and a pastry and to enjoy the setting. The staff is welcoming and makes you feel at home.

With my opinion, the best address of Avignon. I have only excellent souvenirs there. The evening dinners in summer: everything is perfect, not slowness in the service while all tables are occupied, not noisy guests! Same for a simple dish any time of the day, or has a freshly squeezed orange juice, the same quality welcome. The winter, in the small room behind the bar. an intimate place to share with friends. I have some times reserve for my owner, by asking for a quiet table; there was never disappointing.
Living on Avignon, I was not pleased to discover the rooms (said to some have views Palais des Papes), but the reception is exceptional.
The garden is a discreet charm.
I will stop soon.
