A nice little blue bistro with a terrace offers French cuisine and an à la carte menu.

It's a pretty little bistro with a blue facade and a terrace that's welcome in fine weather. Amélie Nogier is the chef, she studied at the starred La Mirande, she cooks French cuisine with "touches of elsewhere". No menu but a fixed menu and suggestions on the slate, made from fresh and local products: salmon tataki, lacquered duckling with honey and ginger, lacquered Ventoux pig and panisses, zucchini flowers with ewe's milk cheese, roasted apricots and chocolate macaroons. Busy for lunch, it is better to reserve.

Schönes, gemütliches, kleines Lokal in Avignon, direkt in der Fußgängerzone.

Der Service ist flott, freundlich und liebenswürdig. Das Ambiente ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Nicht überladen, angenehm.

Zur normalen Karte gibt es noch aktuelle Empfehlungen, die ständig wechselnden. Der Graved Lachs mit Frischkäse war von gut Qualität, vielleicht hätte man die Haut etwas sauberer vor dem Servieren abschneiden können. Aber geschmacklich toll. Das gereichte Brot war frisch, knusprig und lecker.

Der Kabeljau war gut angebraten, perfekt gegart, so dass die Haut kross, das Fleisch aber noch sehr saftig war. Die Kombination aus Gemüse, Mais und Popcorn war ungewöhnlich, aber sehr gekonnt. Richtig gut.

Zum Dessert ein hausgemachtes Crème Brulée, an den nichts zu verbessern war.

Insgesamt eine gute Empfehlung für ein gutes Essen in Avignon.

Les plats étaient excellents, la qualité, la fraîcheur et l'originalité au rdv ! Cependant, je suis assez déçu du service ainsi que de la décoration. Celle-ci joue sur le lapin blanc du conte Alice aux pays du merveille. Étant une grande amoureuse de ce conte et de l'univers, je n'ai pas trouvé de lien avec la décoration.
Au niveau du service, tout commençait bien et une fois passé l'apéritif la serveuse était assez froide. J'avais demandé un cocktail sans alcool mais, a priori, il n'y avait plus rien pour faire le "sans alcool" n'est-ce pas exactement la même chose que le classique mais ... sans l'alcool ?!
