EL TAQUITO
Simple Mexican restaurant where you can enjoy hearty dishes at very reasonable prices.
It is the only real Mexican restaurant in Avignon. It is however located in one of the nicest streets in the city, but it is hardly noticeable. It's a pity because here, the prices are more than reasonable and it's generous. It's very small, the furniture is simple, there's a room at the back or else it's possible to eat at the bar while watching the young boss make the burritos. First of all, start with the delicious guacamole and its tacos, continue with the "arrieros" which are simply excellent. Corn tortillas are homemade.... Jules, who lived in Mexico and married a Mexican woman, is very nice! Low budget or with children we recommend; they will discover that nachos are not hard and that in Mexico there is no such thing as chili con carne...

Los tacos tienen buen sabor aunque son algo pequeños. Los nachos con pico de gallo están buenos. En general todo está bien preparado y hay buena calidad y buena relación cantidad/precio.
La única pega es que sólo hay una persona preparando y atendiendo y la comida tarda en estar lista.
