Restaurant offering a menu based on local products in beautiful recipes inspired by Provence.
You have to take the footbridge over the Sorgue to enter this place located in one of the prettiest streets of Avignon, at the foot of the tower of the Cordeliers convent. As the seasons go by, you can sit in the shady garden or in front of the fireplace. The menu follows the calendar with local products in beautiful recipes of Provencal inspiration. You can enjoy this place outside of mealtime, at tea time or Sunday brunch. And if you want to prolong the pleasure of being here, you can sleep upstairs in a charming and refined guest house.

Je demandai au barman si je pouvais regarder l'intérieur de la cour étant donné que j'avais eu l'envie de réserver une table à l'extérieur. Il accepta avec beaucoup de réticence. Puis il me dit de façon désagréable qu'on ne réservait pas pour un lieu mais pour la nourriture.

A éviter. Accueil à la limite du correct. Serveur qui souffle quand on lui demande des glaçons. Mépris du client et pour finir une facture extrêmement salée pour une nourriture grasse et quelconque.

Excellent rapport qualité / prix. J’ai commandé l’œuf cocotte aux asperges et foie gras, le Parmentier de canard et la madeleine ganache chocolat blanc et c’était tout simplement délicieux. Le restaurant est divisé en deux petites salles à ambiance cosy. Pour quatre personnes la meilleure table c’est celle à côté de la fenêtre. Si vous allez à Avignon je vous recommande ce restaurant. Pensez à réserver.
