You have to take the footbridge over the Sorgue to enter this place located in one of the prettiest streets of Avignon, at the foot of the tower of the Cordeliers convent. As the seasons go by, you can sit in the shady garden or in front of the fireplace. The menu follows the calendar with local products in beautiful recipes of Provencal inspiration. You can enjoy this place outside of mealtime, at tea time or Sunday brunch. And if you want to prolong the pleasure of being here, you can sleep upstairs in a charming and refined guest house.

Reservation for 10 people, restaurant closed due to technical issue but no notice received. So a closed door with nobody answering the phone until the 4th call. They did not inform us as they didn’t have my phone number, yet the only way to make a reservation is by phone… Zero customer service.

Excellent moment, une pause très agréable pendant le festival Off. Le Lieu est un havre de paix, idéal pour une pause repas. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. On y retournera l'année prochaine. Attention, il est préférable de réserver.
