Getting around by boat and ferry Avignon

In the 1900s, a tram ferry provided the link between Avignon and the Barthelasse island. Today, a free, regular shuttle bus takes you across. For those who want to explore the island by bike, it's possible to get on board with their 2-wheeler. The shuttle does not operate on days with strong Mistral winds, or from January¹ to February 15.
