The best bakery in Saint-Maximin, a stone's throw from the Basilica. You can buy sourdough bread baked over a wood fire.
Without hesitation, the best bakery in town. A few steps away from the basilica, this little store makes you want to taste the real good bread. Organic and Provençal flours, varied, and breads baked in a wood fire. The crust is very crispy but the crumb is soft and the bread is consistent. There is a good choice of wholemeal T110, seeded bread, pilgrim (almond, hazelnut, grape, fig and apricot) and rye. The baguette, thick and fleshy, is also sold by weight. Beautiful oil pumps. Everything gives envy.
