As its name suggests, this is Radio du Pays du Verdon, an independent local community radio station that has been on the air since 1985. Its aim is to "encourage local expression and generate democracy", and to this end it broadcasts local news, local festivities, classified ads, job offers and cinema programs, and makes a point of highlighting regional musicians and artists.
