A jewel of Provence's olive-growing heritage to be visited in a beautiful building comprising an old silkworm farm and 3 oil mills
All aboard for the 19th century! Nestled in a sumptuous building, the Moulin de Sainte-Cécile is a jewel of Provencal olive-growing heritage. Following major renovation work, the bastide, comprising a former silkworm farm and 3 oil mills, has just been restored and transformed into an eco-museum and cultural e-pole. In a setting brimming with objects of yesteryear donated by local residents, visitors can follow the path of olives as they were made in days gone by, from harvesting to oil production, using technologies such as augmented reality and holograms.
