Small restaurant in La Garde-Freinet offering a simple southern cuisine, burger, pizzas and meats

Situated in the heart of the village, this small restaurant with its friendly atmosphere and warm welcome offers simple, generous southern family cuisine, made with fresh seasonal produce, such as the excellent burger, mussels à la provençale, wood-fired specialties and pizzas, excellent wood-fired meats, a good wild boar daube, chestnut fondant, all served copiously. The service is attentive and smiling. A good address at a reasonable price.

Stopped by for lunch. Plenty seating outdoors and a nice atmosphere. Service was excellent and helpful. We had a Sea Bass dish and a Goats Cheese salad. Both were absolutely excellent, very tasty and a large portion. Local rose wine was also nice. Great place to eat at and we shall visit again, highly recommended.

And we did visit again for an excellent dinner and warm hospitality.

Service ist eine reine Katastrophe- wenn ich könnte würde ich 0 Sterne vergeben.
Abzocke mit dem Preis für den Wein (stand für 45,— pro Flasche auf der Karte - berechnet wurden 59,—),
nach anderen Getränke mussten wir mehrfach nachfragen.
Unhygienisches Personal, keinen Anstand beim Abräumen, den Wein einschenken musste man sich auch selbst…
Haben 370,— für 5 Personen gezahlt- wovon 40,— zuviel berechnet wurden.
Die anderen Rezensionen über den schlechten Service sind zu 100 Prozent richtig - im letzten Jahr waren unsere Freunde bereits dort und erzählten von dem miesen Service, aber wir wollten dem Laden nochmal eine Chance geben.
Essen war zwar ok, aber lange nicht so gut, dass man so einen Service und so eine Abzocke hinnehmen muss. Man bekommt den Eindruck, dass ausländische Touristen nicht geschätzt werden.
Fazit: Wenn man sich in seinem Urlaub nicht ärgern will, besser nicht hingehen .

La pizza était très bonne pâte croustillante et garniture impeccable et la cuisson parfaite par contre la salade caesar à été un désastre beaucoup de salade mais pas de croûtons à l'ail pas d'œuf dur bref c'était une salade avec juste des morceaux de poulet pané et un peu de fromage grana padano râpé au lieu de parmesan dommage !!!!

Beaucoup trop d'attente,nous avons attendu plus de 40 min pour 2 simples pizzas et une salade de chèvres chaud. Une serveuse incompétente qui a préféré s'assoir avec ses amies que servir ses clients . Un autre a pris une quinzaine de minutes a débarrasser 2 verres et 2 couverts.
Après 30 min d'attente la serveuse arrive comme une fleur pour nous dire sans aucune pression que les cuisiniers se sont trompés et nous redemande notre commande.
Malgres tout,pour se faire pardonner, nous avons eu le droit a une mousse au chocolat (pour 3).

A la limite les banquettes sont confortables.
