The largest of the maritime villas in southern Gaul, near the farm buildings and workers' housing
The Roman seaside villa of Pardigon extends over 3,600 square meters. It is the largest of the maritime villas in southern Gaul, still visible today. Initially a simple hut, then a structured and flourishing villa, it was the dwelling place of a Roman notable, who managed his wine or olive-growing estate. Nearby, there are agricultural buildings and housing for farm workers, as well as fish ponds and a seaport.
