Mountain offering an exceptional 360° panorama on the region of the Bastide, hosting a fauna of mammals and birds of prey.

Nicknamed the "roof of the Var" with its hold on three municipalities, La Bastide, La Roque-Esclapon and Mons, the Var mountain culminates at 1,714 meters of altitude and offers an exceptional 360° panorama on the region (and even up to Corsica when the weather conditions allow it). It is an ideal terrain for paragliders and is home to a very diverse fauna of mammals and birds of prey. The aerial ballet of the latter is spectacular when you take the time to admire it. The place is also popular with mountain bikers.
