We recently had the opportunity to stay at the Kube Hotel in St. Tropez, which left us with mixed feelings. We had a strong inclination to dispute our stay, but ultimately decided against it. The high price of almost $4,000 for a two-night stay set our expectations quite high.

First, it's worth noting that the building used to be a hospital, a fact readily shared upon arrival. The intriguing aspect, however, is that the interior design still retains remnants of its hospital origins, which becomes unmistakably apparent once this fact is brought to one's attention. For example, the room's aesthetics were striking in their sterility. The predominant use of pristine white, devoid of any decorative elements or accents, created an ambiance that felt clinical and somewhat lacking in warmth. While minimalism can be appreciated, we found ourselves longing for touches of character or personalized charm to enhance the overall ambiance. The hallways were strangely dark, with sparse lighting, which ironically gave them more of a laser tag vibe than a traditional hotel. This darkness extended to the 'Kube'-shaped bathrooms, which were unfortunately also lacking in light.

We were disappointed with the size of the room and its amenities. It felt compact to the point of feeling cramped and lacked some expected conveniences, such as a luggage rack. The bed, which appeared as a full or queen size in the pictures, turned out to be two small twins pushed together. This caused some discomfort during sleep due to the noticeable gap in the middle. To top it off, our experience with the housekeeping service was less than satisfactory. They missed cleaning the room for one day, and when it was finally tidied up, we found ourselves locked out of the bathroom. Resorting to unlocking the door with a spoon was certainly not on our holiday to-do list, and the delay in assistance from the hotel staff was frustrating.

Nevertheless, we must compliment the stunning view from our room. The panorama, encompassing the serene waters and towering mountains, was truly breathtaking. It provided a redeeming quality that partly balanced out the drawbacks.

Overall, while the Kube Hotel has potential and an incredible location, it fell short in certain aspects of comfort and service. We hope they take this feedback into account and make necessary improvements for future guests. We rate it three stars

Achtung!! Personal stiehlt. Und wurde eine Computer Tastatur gestohlen! Aus dem Zimmer.
Zuerst wurde behauptet sie hätten nichts und dann haben sie die Tastatur plötzlich gefunden und verlangen dass ich auf meine Kosten sie per Post senden muss.

Chambre en mauvais état (meubles abîmés, fenêtres qui ne ferment pas avec vent qui rebique toute la nuit, serrure qui ne ferme pas bien)
Je suis venu en août, le service de chambre a fait ma chambre est à « oublié de fermer la porte en partant », aucune excuse ni rien
Je prends le petit déjeuner et j’oublie mes lunettes de soleil, je retourne le lendemain et on me confirme qu’elles ont bien été retrouvées mais qu’elles ont disparu, aucune excuse de ce côté là aussi
Les chambres sont plus que limite pour le prix
Lors de mon départ je demande à ce qu’un manager me rappel à plusieurs reprises et personne ne l’a jamais fait.
Je ne reviendrai pas

Modernité, espace, dimension artistique et néanmoins charme.

Stylisches Hotel in schöner Lage. Der hauseigene Shuttleservice ist klasse. Gerade bei den teuren Taxi-Preisen in St.Tropez. Die Tiefgarage ist sehr breit mit flachem Auffahrwinkel. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cet hôtel ! La décoration et es 3 piscines sont magnifiques (mention spéciale pour la piscine chauffée) , l’accueil, le service au top personnel très agréable ! Service de navette très pratique pour se rendre au village ! Je recommande !

The employees were awesome.

2 bad points :
- Restaurant is not what we can expect for these values by far.
- The one in charge at my venue named "G", should be replaced and is dilsked by most of the employees.

Beautifully designed and art but certainly the Interior Designer and Architect did not have a clue about hotels and should severely punished. The way the building are designed the noise around some of the pools is amplified. Better landscaping would help.

Not a comfortable chair in the place including the square toilet that is painful. The shower you need to leap to get in . Only way to turn on is with a cold shower. Toilet and sinks were on the opposite side of the room. The light switch for the toilet controls the entire room.

No USB plugs. So if you want to plug anything in next to bed the side table needs to be a few meters from the wall.

Glasses and bottles at the end of the bed so be very, very careful.

Breakfast service is terrible. Breakfast fair.
Carpet is truly disgusting.

Service at the Reception and Valet was very good and the views from the main pool is incredible.

This Hotel was designed to make a statement with out much concern for the guests.

This is horrible. We got robbed here and the staff acted like it was OKAY to be robbed. I am a luxury travel advisor and I cannot believe what we just experienced here. We left at 11:30pm… scared. Do not stay here.

Beautiful hotel . Nice breakfast buffet. 3 big pools . Rooms were spacious , stylish and clean .Close to St Tropez. Friendly staff. They provide a private shuttle to St Tropez which is for free . I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Manque d'hygiène sur le Ruftop (moisissures sur les coussins. Service pas digne d'un 5 étoiles, pas d'accompagnement avec l'apéro. Dommage car la vue est superbe
