Museum retracing the history of the naval troops and offering a wide range of cultural activities
Opened in October 1981, the museum preserves the memory and traces the history of the Troupes de Marine, units created in the 17th century by Richelieu and integrated into the French Army in 1900, through collections that reveal two intertwined histories: that of the Troupes de Marine and that of overseas France. The museum is also a venue for a wide range of cultural activities. After renovation, it will offer an additional 400m2 dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

Boutique souvenir variée et qui sert aussi à financer le musée
Exposition extraordinaire, retraçant l'histoire de la Marine de Napoléon à nos jours.
Exposition temporaire exceptionnelle (sur la bataille de Waterloo, avec une maquette de 100m² et des milliers de figurines en plombs !!)
Bref je conseille, j'ai énormément appris aujourd'hui.
De plus, le musée est facile d'accès et d'une propreté irréprochable. C'est un lieu que je recommande vivement à tout le monde, car il offre une belle opportunité d'en apprendre davantage sur notre histoire et de cultiver la mémoire de ceux qui ont sacrifié leur vie pour notre pays. Une visite à ne pas manquer pour sa propre culture !
