CLOISTER OF THE CATHEDRAL OF FRÉJUS
Cloister composed of a level and an upper gallery, painted panels with scenes of daily life to see
The cloister of the cathedral of Saint Leonce was built in two stages. A first level on the ground floor was built in the 13th century, then completed in the following century with an upper gallery, which resulted in the installation of a wooden coffered framework on the first floor, composed of three hundred painted panels representing scenes of daily life, religious elements and especially a fantastic medieval bestiary. The center is occupied by a deep well.
