Local festival dedicated to chestnuts, a real Collobrières speciality, with street entertainment and tastings of local produce.

Collobrières, in the heart of the Var region, is the chestnut capital of France and a charming little Provencal village that we love at Le Petit futé. In October, when the chestnuts are picked, the town organizes festivities on three Sundays in a row, dedicated to this emblematic local fruit. Other villages also celebrate chestnuts in October, but Collobrières remains the main festival, with events, gourmet stands and tastings of local produce.
