Gorges de Pennafort with wild landscape, a path allows to reach the waterfall between 2 cliffs, the chapel on the spur to see
This remarkable site, with its wild and tormented landscape, is of great geological interest. A path leads to a pretty waterfall falling between two cliffs. By a small path, you can also reach the Notre-Dame de Pennafort chapel located on its spur, at the confluence of 2 valleys. It is topped by a dome built in 1855 on the remains of an older chapel. The Virgin honoured in this chapel is still the object of veneration by the Callassians, perpetuating the pious tradition of pilgrimages, in this case on Whit Sunday.

Un lieu super, très beau, très nature, très accessible...trop accessible...l'été c'est une vraie autoroute de personnes en tongs, et des enfants sans surveillance qui vont sauter dans des vasques dont ils n'ont aucune idée de la profondeur . C'est un lieu magnifique mais où les gens pic-nic et ne ramassent pas leurs déchets...C'est bien dommage car ce sont des gorges magnifiques.mais si vous avez le choix allez y hors juillet août et surtout ramassez vos déchets svp!
