On the west coast of the Esterel massif, 6 km from Bagnols-en-Forêt, here is one of the high places of Var climbing. A small canyon with red walls 80 m high, this superb wooded site overlooks a peaceful stream; some would compare it with the wild landscapes of the Isle of Beauty! From the viewpoint, the panorama extends from the Estérel massif to Saint-Raphaël, passing by the Roquebrune and Maures rocks, all this of course with the Mediterranean in the background... Advice for beginners: go to the Colle Rousse area.
