It's a show not to be missed! An ocean of several thousand ewes, lambs and rams as well as Rove goats (an ancient Provencal breed) and donkeys accompanied by their shepherds in traditional costume and their dogs parade twice around the old town center. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful traditional festivals of Provence. It symbolizes the departure of the flocks of sheep that leave Provence in spring to join the pastures of the Alps. And all day long, there is a flea market and a cheese fair.
