A charming little fishing port at the gateway to the Calanques, you can rent kayaks or boats for walks.
What a lovely little fishing port the Madrague de Montredon is! A change of scenery in a few tens of minutes by bus from the Prado. Here we are at the gateway to the Calanques, already the city is only a village, because in the district there are only a few squares and alleys. A small beach (no swimming) completes this pretty Provençal picture of colourful boats. You can take a gastronomic break at Chez Aldo or Au bord de l'eau or rent kayaks, explore the coast as far as Marseilleveyre, rent boats or dive from the Archipelago leisure centre. Also note a nice walk around Monte Rosa to Samena or some pretty spots for swimming along the coast and on the harbour pier, a spot popular with Sunday fishermen.
