If you'd like to practice your passion without having to depend on the weather, or if you're simply looking for an introduction to climbing, then the Boîte à Grimpe is the only roped wall in Marseille, with 3 roped climbing lanes, each 12 meters high and with a total surface area of 100m2 and 7 permanent ropes, and a pyramid wall, 12 meters high and 14 meters long, with 6 meters of overhang and a few macro-volumes, with a surface area of 250m2. Last but not least, a bouldering room that's as close to nature as possible, with camber, reta, slopes of every inclination and roof... A must for climbers, the site is also home to the departmental committee of the Fédération française Montagne Escalade (same telephone numbers), as well as the Bureau des Moniteurs des Calanques. La Boîte à Grimpe is a venue that appeals to many climbing enthusiasts, and there's no doubt that if you're one of them, you'll also be seduced by the services on offer and the atmosphere that reigns here. Individual and group lessons are available from age 4 up to adults.
