MASSILIA SUB
Marseille Sub proposes two parallel but complementary activities. Subaquatique and underwater hockey. The Apnée Sub section was created in September 2001. With a FFESSM monitor, it included fifteen members. Today, 4 monitors, 3 of whom are graduates of the group. 45 licensees, some of which are now an important section of the club. To date, the club operates within the federal framework with a club-to-club authorization over 40 metres deep. The hockey section consists of three teams, including one female, or more than 45 players. In 2002, the women's team became the first division of the French championship. Underwater hockey is a team sport and competition that is delegated to the FFESSM. One game is played by 2 teams of 10 players (6 in the water and 4 replacements), moving in apnée, trying to place a pail in the opposing ends, using a small lacrosse.
