This is the world's major sporting event of 2024, and many of the events will take place in Marseille, in the new marina.

As part of the 2024 Summer Olympics to be held in Paris, the city of Marseille has been chosen to host nautical events as well as soccer matches at the Stade Vélodrome (10 matches in total). A global showcase for the city that will kick off with the arrival of the Olympic flame in the Vieux-Port on May 8, 2024. In Marseille's brand-new marina, between the Prado and Corniche beaches, 12 days of sailing competition and 330 athletes from 40 different nations. A highlight for the city, the region and the country.
