The aim of this challenge is to reach the Château d'If and the Prado beaches. 5 km of swimming inspired by the escape of Edmond Dantes.

A sporting challenge for the past 24 years, it is obviously inspired by the legendary escape of the famous Edmond Dantes in The Count of Monte Cristo. Today, it is the most important swimming event at sea open to the public. The challenge takes place every year in June and sees nearly 2,000 participants set off from the Ile d'If to reach the coast at the Prado beaches, a total of 5 km. Junior challenges of 1 km are also organized each year. A night race was also added to the program three years ago. Notice to the amateurs!
