A must-visit restaurant with a superb terrace serving excellent pizzas and varied menus in the Vallon des Auffes.

Nestled in the Vallon des Auffes, this restaurant is an integral part of Marseille's gastronomic landscape, just like its neighbor Fonfon. Famous for its wood-fired pizzas, Chez Jeannot also offers a nice menu, now headed by the starred chef Ludovic Turac. The meat and charcuterie served here comes from the nearby Pépé Guido butcher shop on the Corniche. Beef stew and large shrimps marinated in ginger rub shoulders with the famous and surprising bouillabaisse pizza, topped with Saint-Pierre and red mullet.

L'endroit est magnifique, par contre les plats sont moins bons qu'avant ( surtout les pizzas) . 2 plats sont arrivés alors que les 4 autres avaient fini de manger

Rien à redire, le cadre sur le Vallon des auffes, la gentillesse et l'humour du service, le bon goût et la générosité des plats.
J'ai adoré.
