Asabiya is a mezze restaurant that organizes a variety of concerts and stand-up evenings: a place for sharing around the table.

An astonishing new venue for a Cours Julien district that will never cease to amaze us! Just when you think this lively neighborhood is slipping into conformism, places like Asabiya are popping up. Asabiya is a mezze restaurant, where people share at and around the table. A variety of concerts enliven a rich program. Hummus, moutabal, manouche and arayess are accompanied by Taybeh or Almaza beer.

This place is okay but not anything with a wow factor. The service was very slow the evening we were there and a bit chaotic it seemed.

As for food, some portions were incredibly small and disappointing (the lamb meatballs, it was mostly yoghurt).
The little patties were nice.
The chicken wasn’t great, tasted too powdery of spices.
The mix meze plate was okay and the falafel on it was very nice.

It’s not bad or anything here and will do for a decent meal but I have definitely had better food from this cuisine and for less.
