Restaurant offering a menu written in Japanese and French.

A good little Japanese restaurant run by two women, two mothers in this case as the name of the establishment indicates, Okäsan, "mother" in Japanese. The card is written in Japanese and French, so don't panic! The decoration is authentic, made of Japanese objects and the menu changes every month. There is also a special dish of the day. Dishes are served in bentos boxes and sushi and sashimi are excellent. To accompany it, a bowl of rice, miso soup, salad or vegetables. A short trip to the land of the rising sun that begins at the entrance with the small reconstituted Japanese garden. A reputed address where a reservation is required!

Where to eat well Japanese in Marseille?

with OKAÄSAN.

Kè-its- ko?

This strange word means " maman" in Japanese and are well two moms who cook including there in this new restaurant amusingly inventive...

You reach by Zen attitude as you enter the restaurant crossing a small reconstructed Japanese garden. Sit down by putting your suitcase in a wicker basket at your feet, table is nicely decorated and if you close your eyes, you will imagine you almost in Japan.

All feel good Asia until the menu, written in Japanese and French on a beautiful recycled paper. The very welcoming owner explains the menus attention. Try a menu ichi juice san saï composed of sushi, sashimi and grilled main course presented in a box bento on floors. It deliciously is made with fresh ingredients. About €25 for a menu.

In a word: OKAÄSAN, go!
