A creative seasonal cuisine in a bistro in Marseille.

Opened in September 2018, this bistro is a former bar-troquet tastefully rehabilitated, the historic counter preserved. The team is young and the atmosphere relaxed. A beautiful spirit in the kitchen, with aesthetically pleasing plates composed of qualitative, seasonal products combined and cooked with savoir-faire. On this particular day, for example, the menu featured caponata, capers, eggplants, fresh tomatoes, olive powder and pickles. And for dessert: choco-noisette cookie, stracciatella ice cream and praline. To accompany your drink, delicious homemade crunchy panisses.

Booked table for the dinner, unfortunately the service wasn't taking care of us very well and we needed to ask them to order the food or get something to drink. The portions are rather small as for the price, same when it comes to wine - quite pricey. You can find better options around, but the food was okay. Nothing fancy, just correct. Would be nice to have more vegetarian options too, there was only one plate without meat:(
