La Madeleine de Marseille, recently opened as a boutique by two partners, Patrick and Nicolas, is located in the lively Cinq-Avenues district. It's a pretty store with the sweet aroma of freshly baked madeleines. Proust himself would love it, and would never leave the premises. Different flavors: aniseed, almond, pistachio, lemon, plain and a delicious melting sensation on the palate. A real treat. Everything is made on site in the small laboratory, so it's very, very fresh. You'll appreciate the texture of the madeleines, the bits of chocolate, the flaked almonds and the pistachio powder. A gourmet marvel you won't want to miss!
