Hardly a year goes by without the Belle-de-Mai district, around La Friche, seeing the arrival of an exciting new address! To be perfectly accurate, we're not actually in La Belle-de-Mai, but a stone's throw away, and at Les Pieds tanqués, a stone's throw counts. Here, in a place that's all about conviviality and meeting new people, lots of young people come for a drink, a bite to eat and a game of cochonnet. Because yes, Pétanque does indeed come from "tanned feet", and its name did indeed derive from this expression when it was created in La Ciotat. We love the healthy spirit of this new place for sharing, the idea that Provencal heritage can be combined with our modern lifestyles.
