This coffee-shop with a certain cachet is the brainchild of Vanessa, a talented Marseillaise whose dream has been to open just such a place for years, with a particular fondness for the Friends series and its Central Perk café. Set in a passageway in the backyard of the Haussmann-style buildings on rue de la Rép', it's a cocoon awaiting you for a hot or cold homemade drink, a cookie or a slice of cake. With exposed stone walls and comfortable vintage furniture, you can work or relax just a stone's throw from the Panier.

I wouldn’t recommend this place as a stop on a busy day, since it requires sitting down for 40 minutes+. To catch up with friends, it’s good though.
