A small restaurant in an idyllic setting with a lovely shaded terrace offering a fine modern bistro menu in Marseille.
Below the Hôtel-Dieu, a pretty terrace in green tones, shaded by young trees. An idyllic setting away from the hustle and bustle, and an attractive new address. Chez Placette serves breakfast, lunch and even dinner on certain evenings of the week. That lunchtime, the dish of the day was a skirt steak with pepper sauce and creamy polenta, while on the à la carte menu, we hesitated between a tuna steak, black rice and vegetables with aioli sauce or arrancini with parmesan. On Sundays, it's the place to be for brunch.

L'entrée : feuilleté au saint Marcellin = fromage trop fort et en trop grande quantité par rapport au feuilletage ; les panis = avec des graines d'anis (pas tout le monde aime ce goût particulier, il aurait été bien de le mentionner) ; le poulet au gingembre = très sec et peu savoureux. Ma conclusion : établissement très sympathique mais les prix sont trop élevés pour la cuisine proposée.
